Texas Fastest Street Car Shakedown (Saturday, March 25, 2006)

ENNIS, Texas -- In an effort to turn street racers onto taking their 
racing to the track, the Texas Motorplex has formatted an event for 
street legal cars to complete in a heads up and safe environment. The

Fastest Street Car
in Texas Shakedown has been formatted to incorporate all the fun of 
racing into a legal and sanctioned event. No hassle from the cops, no 
worry about running, just a good day at the races with you and your friends.

With three index classes and a DFWCC.org car show there is something for 
everyone. The index classes are 11.50, 12.50, and 13.50. With this being 
the Texas Fastest Street Car Shakedown the fastest heads up cars will be 
classed in the Shakedown class. This class is for the Baddest of the bad 
and fastest of the fast. The Shakedown class will be a one shot at the 
track for all the money and marbles. Prize money and bragging rights are 
up for grabs in all four classes at the Texas Fastest Street Car Shakedown.

*    Vendor Gates Open 10am
*    Participant Gates Open at Noon
*    Time Trials at 2pm
*    Fastest Street Car time trials all day
*    Index Eliminations at 4pm
*    Fastest Street in Texas Show Down at 7pm

*    Heads up
*    .400 pro tree
*    Texas Tagged, Inspected, Registered, and Insured (Bring Proof)
*    Slicks are allowed
*    Open exhaust allowed
*    Time Trials all day
*    One Shot At 7pm Winner Take All Format.
*    Run what you brung and hope you brung enough
*    $40 Entry
*    $3000 TO THE FASTEST STREET CAR IN TEXAS
*    $1000 TO THE SECOND FASTEST
*    ALL NHRA RULES APPLY
